Mind Wondrin' (who is an interesting reviewer) I think is way off the mark w/ 3-16-68> "Otherwise it's average spring '68..." (w/ a C grade)
I'll take that over most anything in the whole darn catalog! And how lucky are we? Taped & miked by Bear (what VU could have done with him) and transferred by CM. Still listening and writing about it forty-five years later.

Ya I don't think he gets it. This is a strong '68 show will a pretty explosive Alligator > Caution and a cool eleven jam. If anything, it's a bit underrated in the grand scheme of early '68.

I think his grades are ridiculous & illogical, but his reviews are interesting; and anyway it's unique to find someone who calls every show "average."
